yesterday was attie's 11-month birthday... i think she's really growing up so quickly! i know i say this every month, but it really does seem like the last one flew by even faster than usual. attie now weighs about 21 pounds, has four little teeth, and is growing more hair. she's able to cruise pretty easily along any big piece of furniture, and can stand and balance really well on her own. she is eating more and more solids (loves her cherrios!), takes at least 2 naps a day, and drinks 3-4 8 oz bottles of formula a day.
a few things she's doing lately...
- she will hand you something and then quickly pull her arm back again before you can get it.
- she likes to pick things up using 2 fingers (instead of using her entire fist to grab) and reach out to show it to you
- she loves riding on daddy's (or anyone's) shoulders and giggles when you tickle her tummy
- she also likes to take reach into things like purses or boxes and pull all the items out
here are some pictures of her eating some linguine today :) it was fun watching her trying to get the noodles into her mouth. her motor skills are getting better every day too.
