The Los Angeles Magazine hosted an event called "The Food Event, Home Grown" this past Sunday at the Kitchen Academy in LA, adjacent to ArcLight Cinemas. The event was filled with food, beer and wine tastings from various LA restaurants, celebrity chef cooking demonstrations (including Top Chef contestants CJ and and Betty Fraser), an awesome goody bag, and did i already mention unlimited food tastings?! There was even a gelato ice cream bar! I think I pretty much ate for 3 hours straight.
