just thought i'd share a happy moment. i started a consulting job recently and although i get to do most of the work at home, i obviously have to leave attie at home while i go into the office for some training and work. a few days ago when i came home, attie greeted me with the sweetest welcome! when she saw me walk through the door, she pointed at me, yelled "Ma-ma" and had the biggest smile on her face. she said "ma-ma" again and again and ran to me and wrapped her arms around my leg and hugged me with all her might! it was the best moment ever. i wanted to freeze time and record that moment. it's hard to describe the feeling i had - elated maybe? anyway, it really made my day that attie was so happy to see me!
the pictures here are from mother's day this year... anselm got me flowers and cooked a delicious meal for us even though he was so tired from traveling back from vancouver and running a ton of errands that day. thanks anselm!
