My sister Gina came back from Las Vegas to visit this past weekend! It was the first time Gina saw Attie again since she was born. It was so nice to hang out and I'm glad Attie got a chance to get to know her Auntie Gina better! Thanks for coming to visit and helping out whenever she needed to be picked up :)
Attie is now 6 weeks old here is what she's up to lately:
- She can now focus her gaze on objects in front of her face and even follows the objects move. She likes to stare at the mobile above her crib and follow the little stuffed animals go around.
- She still takes a lot of naps during the day and sleeps at most 4-5 hours during the night.
- She seems to enjoy her baths, doesn't fuss at all whenever she is in the water. She also loves getting her diaper changed, maybe she is a clean freak like her mommy!
- Sadly, she's already growing up so fast... I noticed today that she no longer fits into a pair of socks that used to fit her really well just a week ago :(
- She is gaining more control of her neck although she still can't hold her head up by herself completely yet (I call her bobble head Attie).
- But best of all she can now SMILE! :) It is the most rewarding thing, to see her look straight at you and break out into a big smile! Too cute!!
