Over the weekend, we went to celebrate baby Brady's first birthday. It was a such a great party, with delicious food, yummy cake, fun games, and the cutest balloon decorations. Happy Birthday Brady!
There was an interesting Korean ritual where a tray of items representing different things were placed in front of baby Brady. The various items on the tray included thread, a book, money, a pair of scissors, a knife, etc. Brady then had to pick up an object and it is believed the first one he picks will foretell his future. The first item Brady picked up was a spool of thread - signifying that he will have a long life. The next item he picked up was the book, which means he will be a good scholar - as his mommy commented, he might even be a Bruin someday!
Attie finally met her Auntie Queena for the first time that night. Attie says thanks for the cute piggy bank!
