on friday, attie rolled over for the first time from her belly to her back! i was getting ready to take her out and i set her down for a few minutes of tummy time while i gathered her things. after just a few minutes, i turned back to check on her and she was laying on her back! i missed the first time she rolled over, but i turned her back on her belly, grabbed my camera (which is never far away) and started taking a video. she promptly flipped over again!
other than that, attie is totally interactive and loves to play with her toys. she laughs and giggles out loud when she gets really excited. it's the cutest thing :) here is what she's been up to lately:
- grabs toys with her hands and usually brings them right into her mouth
- sucks on her fingers (instead of her entire hand) here with her daddy and grandpa:
:::- concentrate on whatever is dangling in front of her and reach for them if they are close enough:

- sits pretty well in her little chair so she usually hangs out with us when we're eating dinner:

i am scheduled to go back to work this thursday, only a few more days of hanging out with attie until i have to leave her with our new nanny all day. i don't know how i'm going to be able to handle not seeing her all day. i don't think i've been away from her for more than 4-5 hours at a time, the 2 times a week that i have to go to class. good thing i work close enough that i can sometimes come home for lunch to see her. if you have any advice on how to cope with the transition, please send them my way!

If you pay close attention, Attie yells out "Turtle Power!" before flipping over. (around the 1 min mark)
I can't believe you let her sit on top of the dining table!
haha i love that video. I should be doing other stuff but I had to watch it again.
turtle power! "FLIP" - go attie!
