last weekend we went to a local strawberry farm to pick some fresh strawberries. we got a tour of the farm from the back of a truck and as part of the tour we stopped at various parts of the farm to try their fresh vegetables. we ate some fresh coriander (cilantro), celery, bok choy, maui green onions, sugar snaps, and carrots. here is anselm holding some of the veggies:
attie was a good sport and tried everything, and i think her favorite was the carrots.
our last stop was the strawberry patch where we got off the truck and filled our baskets with fresh strawberries that we picked ourselves. while you are picking, you are allowed to eat as many as you want, and i think attie really got her money's worth. come to think of it.. i think kids under 2 are free.. haha.

it was a lot of fun.. and of course we had to take a picture with this silly sign :)
