i flew in to China yesterday and i am here with my MBA class this week visiting guangzhou and hong kong. last night, a few of us took a taxi to a place called shengxia jio lu for dinner. there were lots of outdoor shopping and the street looked really cool with all the signs.
today is officially the start of our program and after an orientation and some guest speakers, we went on a city tour of guangzhou. here i am with my roomie joo at the six banyan pagoda.
as you can tell from the pictures, attie is not here with me - i miss her (and anselm) dearly!! this is the first time i have been away from her for more than 1 day! i carry pictures of her in my purse and i look at them all the time. my mom is staying over at my house during the week to help take care of her, but anselm is taking care of her pretty much all by himself on the weekends. i think she is doing fine at home with her daddy without me... here is a picture of her taken yesterday that anselm sent me - she looks so happy doesn't she?
