i have been so busy lately i haven't had time to blog about anything! juggling the baby with school and work is finally catching up to me... anyway, here's a quick recap of our outings last weekend: on saturday, queena came over to visit and she brought some desserts from porto's to share. they have absolutely the best bakery items ever! yuuuummmy! it's always nice to see queena, even if it's just for a short time. we didn't have much time to hang out since i had to attend a dinner that evening hosted by uncle ming & aunt dorothy in honor of my cousin joanna's wedding. it was kind of like a rehearsal dinner, except the wedding party wasn't there, it was just extended family members from both sides of joanna's family. it was nice to see so many of our relatives from out of town. congratulations to elaine and dan who are expecting their second baby in november! elaine is currently 14 weeks pregnant and is looking great! :)

on sunday, it was my brother-in-law andrew's birthday. andrew and his wife thuy were in town for the wedding as well so we celebrated his birthday with a dim sum lunch. later that evening, we attended joanna and ted's wedding at the turnip rose in newport beach. it was truly a beautiful wedding!!! and they even had a cake and sang happy birthday to andrew in the middle of their wedding reception! that was so sweet of the lovely couple. (i will post some pictures later and blog about the wedding in more detail.)

it's nice that i currently still have mondays and wednesdays off from work since i have class on those days. instead of studying like i should have been, i had lunch with elaine, little charlie, aunt kathy and my mother-in-law. later that afternoon, we drove down to a beach in dana point with attie to hang out with all the aunts and uncles and elaine, dan and charlie. i think they started a bonfire on the beach when it got dark but we left before it got too cold, so i'm not sure. it was a super busy but fun-filled weekend. i promise to post pictures of everything soon, especially from the wedding!

something's wrong with this page. the countdown thing appears twice!
no, there's nothing wrong with the page. the blogger format was changed so that you HAVE to have the title on the top left hand corner. i tried to get rid of it, but then both of them disappeared. i want the one on the right to show because the countdown needs more space. can't fix it. i'm hoping it'll fix itself eventually, but just gonna leave it there for now.
