glimpse of attie

Yesterday was my bi-weekly doctor's appointment and my doctor ordered a final ultrasound to check what position Attie is in. Anselm & I were so excited to see images of her again, our last ultrasound was when she was around 19 weeks old, over 4 months ago. We found out that Attie is already in the head down position, facing towards my right, which explains the bulk of the movement I feel on my right side. It's where her little legs and feet are kicking all day long... We also got a glimpse of what she looks like too! Check out the image below - if you look closely, you can make out her face - she is laying down, her right eye is closed, her left eye is in the shadow, and you can see her nose & mouth pretty clearly.

The doctor estimates she is already a little over 6 lbs in weight - with about 3.5 weeks to go, who knows how heavy she will be when she is ready to come out!! I can't wait!
